Un-Hate Your Enemy

There are three types of love: Eros, Phileo and Agape. Eros connotes to sensual love. Phileo connotes to brotherly love. Agape has always been associated to God's love. But, do you know that apostle Paul put a spin into the meaning of the word Agape? Paul defined it in a different context. Agape links you to God and is all about giving you the strength to love your enemies and the unlovable. It can make you reach out across the distance that separates you from them. Agape love is empowering. It makes you a strong person,

Loving an enemy is hard. It should be a step-by-step process. First, forgive your enemy. Next, "un-hate" your enemy. Loving your enemy might not be easy. How can you love someone who continuous to oppress you? Be not troubled. At least now, you don't hate your enemies. The Lord does wonders. Wait.
