Keep Christmas With You

Ethan loves Elmo of Sesame Street. I guess everyone who is familiar with the show can't help but be partial to little positive-ray of sunshine Elmo. Ethan's (and mine too) favorite Sesame Street Christmas song is Keep Christmas with You.

When Christmas time is over and presents put away, don't be sad
There'll be so much to treasure about this Christmas day and the fun we've had
So may happy feelings to celebrate with you
And, oh, the good times hurry by so fast,
But even when it's over there's something you can do to make Christmas last

Keep Christmas with you
All through the year,
When Christmas is over,
You can keep it near.
Think of this Christmas day
When Christmas is far away.

Keep Christmas with you
All through the year,
When Christmas is over,
Save some Christmas cheer.
These precious moments,
Hold them very dear
And keep Christmas with you
All through the year.

Christmas means the spirit of giving
Peace and joy to you,
The goodness of loving,
The gladness of living;
These are Christmas too.

So, keep Christmas with you
All through the year,
When Christmas is over,
Save some Christmas cheer.
These precious moments,
Hold them very dear
And keep Christmas with you
All through the year.

Sure Pain KIller

I am a person who gets migraine all the time. It has been said that migraine has triggers - meaning situations that can start the onset of a terrible migraine. I don't know in particular what my trigger is. All I know is that when I am upset and tired, I get headaches. Terrible ones! I can't see straight once I have an attack. I have a stash of pain reliever in my purse all the time, just in case. D2 has her own over-the-counter stash of pain relievers too for her back pain.

The other day, D1(the doctor) called and said she'd be quite late in coming home. She said she had to attend a medical product launch - whatever that means. She indeed came home late that night and I was surprised to when she came by my bedroom and gave me a big plastic bag of medicine samples. "Mom" she said, "here's your stash of pain reliever. You don't have to buy Tramadol for a while", D1 said cheerfully. The product launch was all about Tramadol and D1 got me samples, lots of them.

What is Tramadol? The drug is a non-narcotic pain-reliever. It works on the pain receptors of the brain blocking out pain effectively. The drug works on any type of pain but it is rather more geared on relieving pain caused by osteoarthritis and any other chronic pain. My best friend is also taking Tramadol as there are days that her back acts up. She fell on her back a year ago and that sort of jarred her 4th and 5th cervical vertebrae. She takes Tramadol too as it is recommended to alleviate moderate to severe pain of any cause. I take tramadol hcl 50mg tab and I can attest that my headache is gone in less than 30 minutes. Great huh?!

A Beautiful Story

A beautiful story..... makes you understand that things happen for a reason.

The brand new pastor and his wife, newly assigned
to their first ministry, to reopen a church
in suburban Brooklyn , arrived in early October
excited about their opportunities When they saw
their church, it was very run down and needed
much work. They set a goal to have everything
done in time to have their first service
on Christmas Eve.

They worked hard, repairing pews, plastering walls,
painting, etc, and on December 18
were ahead of schedule and just about finished.
On December 19 a terrible tempest - a driving
rainstorm hit the area and lasted for two days.
On the 21st, the pastor went over to the church.
His heart sank when he saw that the roof had
leaked, causing a large area of plaster about
20 feet by 8 feet to fall off the front wall of the
sanctuary just behind the pulpit, beginning about
head high.

The pastor cleaned up the mess on the floor,
and not knowing what else to do but postpone
the Christmas Eve service, headed home..

On the way he noticed that a local business was
having a flea market type sale for charity so he
stopped in. One of the items was a beautiful,
handmade, ivory colored, crocheted tablecloth
with exquisite work, fine colors and a Cross
embroidered right in the center. It was just
the right size to cover up the hole in the front
wall. He bought it and headed back to the church.

By this time it had started to snow. An older
woman running from the opposite direction was
trying to catch the bus.. She missed it. The pastor
invited her to wait in the warm church for
the next bus 45 minutes later..

She sat in a pew and paid no attention to the pastor
while he got a ladder, hangers, etc., to put
up the tablecloth as a wall tapestry... The pastor
could hardly believe how beautiful it looked and
it covered up the entire problem area..

Then he noticed the woman walking down the center
aisle. Her face was like a sheet.. 'Pastor,'
she asked, 'where did you get that tablecloth?'
The pastor explained. The woman asked him to check
the lower right corner to see if the initials, EBG were crocheted into
it there. They were. These were the initials of the woman, and she had
made this tablecloth 35 years before, in Austria

The woman could hardly believe it as the pastor
told how he had just gotten the Tablecloth. The
woman explained that before the war she and
her husband were well-to-do people in Austria .

When the Nazis came, she was forced to leave.
Her husband was going to follow her the next week..
He was captured, sent to prison and never saw her
husband or her home again.

The pastor wanted to give her the tablecloth;
but she made the pastor keep it for the church.
The pastor insisted on driving her home, that
was the least he could do.. She lived on the other
side of Staten Island and was only in Brooklyn
for the day for a housecleaning job.

What a wonderful service they had on Christmas
Eve. The church was almost full.. The music and the
spirit were great. At the end of the service, the
pastor and his wife greeted everyone at the door
and many said that they would return.

One older man, whom the pastor recognized
from the neighborhood continued to sit in one of the
pews and stare, and the pastor wondered why he
wasn't leaving.

The man asked him where he got the tablecloth on
the front wall because it was identical to one
that his wife had made years ago when
they lived in Austria before the war and how
could there be two tablecloths so much alike.

He told the pastor how the Nazis came, how he
forced his wife to flee for her safety and he was
supposed to follow her, but he was arrested and
put in a prison.. He never saw his wife or his home
again all the 35 years in between.

The pastor asked him if he would allow him to
take him for a little ride. They drove to Staten
Island and to the same house where the pastor
had taken the woman three days earlier.

He helped the man climb the three flights of
stairs to the woman's apartment, knocked on
the door and he saw the greatest Christmas
reunion he could ever imagine.

True Story - submitted by Pastor Rob Reid
Who says God does not work in mysterious ways.
I asked the Lord to bless you as I prayed for
you today, to guide you and protect you as you go
along your way. His love is always with you, His
promises are true, and when we give Him all our
cares you know He will see us through.

So when the road you're traveling on seems
difficult at best.. Just remember I'm here
praying and God will do the rest. Pass this on
to those you want God to bless and don't forget
to send it back to the one who asked God to bless
you first.

When there is nothing left but God, that is when
you find out that God is all you need.

Torrent Files

My kids are the download Mafia this side of the world. They download everything: movies, TV series, Anime, music, games and all other forms of entertainment that are downloadable. They seem to know which site offers free downloads and which site offers fast download. The big word in downloading today is the word torrent. I have no idea what a torrent is and I wrongly assumed that it is a site. Little did I know that it has something to do with a download software. If you ask me if I truly understand the software, I can sincerely say that the software gives you the benefit of downloading complete files of movies, games et al, has a simple interface and a powerful search engine and updated torrent files searched from thousands of sites with torrent files.

Yoyo Shop: Fill My Christmas Stockings!

I spent the weekend taking out the boxes of last year's Christmas decors from the storage under the stairs that leads to the basement. I took out 2 big plastic boxes filled with Christmas ornaments and Christmas stockings. It's that time of the year again. Time to think of things and stuff to fill up the Christmas stockings for gifts. D2 wants to buy dozens of yoyos to put in the stockings. She said the kids will surely enjoy receiving one to play with. A yoyo would surely do as a Christmas stocking filler. As I think about it, I am now more inclined to agree with D2 and buy dozens of yoyos for the stockings.

A second hand car will do. Anyone know of one for sale?

New Recipes at Food Connect

My family and I love to eat! It used to be that I don't know squat about cooking but having kids pushed me to learn how to cook. There was no one to teach me how to cook so I bought recipe books. I remember staying up late at night experimenting on dishes and cakes. Why late at night? It was the only free time I had then.

I still buy recipe books on occasions but that seemed eons ago. Today, the advent of the internet brings any conceivable recipe at the tip of my fingers. I was browsing for new ways to cook chicken and veggie and I bumped into FoodConnect. This site is great. Readers get to submit their signature recipes to share with others. What's great about this site is that detailed step by step instructions on how to cook the dish are written down including ingredients, serving size and nutritional facts such as: calories, fat, cholesterol, sodium and carbohydrates. Great huh?! What is more amazing though is that you can click on a link to change the serving size and the recipe would automatically adjust to the new serving size.

Chicken and Herbed Dumpling

Here's a picture of recipe I tried and it was delish!

Easy e-book Search

Isn't internet technology amazing and convenient? There's no real need for one to bury his head on books just to get some minute information about specific topics. One can just type in the subject on a search engine and wall! - out comes a string of websites for the subject matter. I enjoy surfing the net for sites where I could learn a few new things and then some. However, searching for specific e-book online is quite frustrating. One could be tied up on the net for hours looking for that specific download-able e-book about Biomechanics! It is good that a new website called search pdf that could help an "e-book searcher" with his dilemma. Go to the site, type in the title of the e-book, it's author then extract the file. The search site has a vast collection of e-books in it's data base.

Are You Ashamed of God?

I FIND IT INTERESTING THAT A HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL CAN SEE THE PROBLEM,
BUT OUR SOCIETY CANNOT. IF I OFFEND ANYONE BY THIS, I REALLY DON'T
APOLOGIZE.

Subject: Tennessee Football

This is a statement that was read over the PA system at the football
game at Roane County High School , Kingston , Tennessee , by school
Principal, Jody McLeod

"It has always been the custom at Roane County High School football
games, to say a prayer and play the National Anthem, to honor God and
Country."

Due to af recent ruling by the Supreme Court, I am told that saying a
Prayer is a violation of Federal Case Law. As I understand the law at
this time, I can use this public facility to approve of sexual
perversion and call it "an alternate life style," and if someone is
offended, that's OK.

I can use it to condone sexual promiscuity, by dispensing condoms and
calling it, "safe sex." If someone is offended, that's OK.

I can even use this public facility to present the merits of killing an
unborn baby as a "viable! means of birth control." If someone is
offended, no problem...

I can designate a school day as "Earth Day" and involve students in
activities to worship religiously and praise the goddess "Mother Earth"
and call it "ecology.."

I can use literature, videos and presentations in the classroom that
depicts people with strong, traditional Christian convictions as "simple
minded" and "ignorant" and call it "enlightenment.."

However, if anyone uses this facility to honor GOD and to ask HIM to
Bless this event with safety and good sportsmanship, then Federal Case
Law is violated.

This appears to be inconsistent at best, and at worst, diabolical.

Apparently, we are to be tolerant of everything and anyone, except GOD
and HIS Commandments.

Nevertheless , as a school principal, I frequently ask staff and
students to abide by rules with which they do not necessarily agree. For
me to do otherwise would be inconsistent at best, and at worst,
hypocritical... I suffer from that affliction enough unintentionally. I
certainly do not need to add an intentional transgression..

For this reason, I shall "Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's,"
and refrain from praying at this time.

" However, if you feel inspired to honor, praise and thank GOD and ask
HIM,in the name of JESUS, to Bless this event, please feel free to do
so.. As far as I know, that's not against the law----yet."

One by one, the people in the stands bowed their heads, held hands with
one another and began to pray.

They prayed in the stands. They prayed in the team huddles. They prayed
at the concession stand and they prayed in the Announcer's Box!

The only place they didn't pray was in the Supreme Court of the United
States of America- the Seat of "Justice" in the "one nation, under GOD."

Somehow, Kingston , Tennessee Remembered what so many have forgotten. We
are given the Freedom OF Religion, not the Freedom FROM Religion. Praise
GOD that HIS remnant remains!

JESUS said, "If you are ashamed of ME before men, then I will be ashamed
of you before MY FATHER.."

Aftermath

The flood that hit Metro Manila brought havoc to tens and thousands of families. Some lost their homes, while others are still in the process of getting "it" all back together - cleaning their homes which were submerged in flood waters.

A nephew has lost all of this material possessions when the flash flood hit his house. He, his wife and their daughter were not able to save anything, only themselves. Their two cars are out there somewhere for the strong current took the cars parked in front of their house. The sad thing about the cars are that they are brand new and the insurance does not cover fortuitous events.

My nephew is considering used cars options now. Either he sells the cars or buy a car through it. He said he has been checking out deals online as it's easier. An option to rent or lease is also offered on the site as options to buy new or used cars. He said there are also competitively rated insurances offered too. I suggested that whatever he decides on, buy used or new, he should get an insurance that includes fortuitous events clause.

The Law of the Garbage Truck

This was sent to me by a friend. I'd like to share it with you.

One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches! The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us.

My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean he was really friendly. So I asked, 'Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!' This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, 'The Law of the Garbage Truck.'

He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you. Don't take it personally.

Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Don't take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets.

The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day. Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so... Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones who don't. Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it!

Of Downloading Songs and Videos...

Isn't it amazing that technology has come a long way compared to ten years ago. Everywhere one looks, people young or old are hooked up to a gadget. The gadget could be a laptop, mobile phone, or any multimedia player. Just the other day, my 6-year-old grandson asked me to help him download some songs from the internet. I asked him that downloading takes a lot of time and at that moment I cannot afford the "time". He countered and told me that his uncle (my son) downloads videos, music and games at www.rapid4me and that I should do the same. So I browsed the site and did some Rapidshare Search of the songs that my grandson wants downloaded. Isn't that funny? Grandma and grandson immediately tried out the site and boy! Downloading has never been faster.

Do You Need a Reliable Web Host?

It is a fact that new bloggers get free blogs hosted by numerous sites on the web. As a blogger gets the "feel" of blogging, he may eventually want to have his own domain and web hosting. A lot of bloggers are now transferring and now getting their own domain names and are therefore on the lookout for inexpensive but highly reliable webhosting companies. Getting a domain name is so easy.

The real problem is choosing the right web hose. There are probably hundreds or even thousands of web hosting companies out there ready to serve any customer. But which host is the best? Luckily there is a website called webhostinggeeks.com that features the best web hosting site about. The rating is based on affordability, reliability, uptime including technical and customer support and of course, customer satisfaction. The site has varied range of directory including information on listed web hosting providers including their hosting plans and promos. Inmotion.com is top 1 but at $8.95 a month it's quite expensive compared to Webhosting Pad which is about $1.99 a month. However, Justhost.com is top 3 but holds the distinction of being the Best Blog Web Hosting. Have you finally decided to get your blog self-hosted? Hop over the links for more information.

What's a Supercharger?

"Mom, do you think it's wise to add a supercharger to a regular car?" asked my son.

"What's a supercharger?" I quipped back. I hate it when I am asked a question that I can't answer so I started to look up the subject on the internet.

A supercharger boosts engine power. A normal-sized engine can be made more fuel efficient by forcing a greater value of air in its combustion chamber. More air means more fuel can be absorbed translating into a greater horsepower for the car engine which ultimately will make it drive faster. Car enthusiasts and car racers definitely know all about this. If you are on the lookout for the best deal on a pontiac supercharger, click the link for more info and possibly the best deal in town.

A Pagan's Life

This is a repost of an article written by Rev. Arnel Tan is the Senior Pastor of Davao Chinese Baptist Church and station manager of DXFE-Davao.

“Why be like the pagans who are so deeply concerned about these things? Your heavenly Father already knows all your needs.”
- Matthew 6:32 NLT

In this word of political consciousness we are cautioned to be careful with the terms we use so we do not offend social sensitivities. I think there is wisdom in cautioning our very judgmental society. So who do you call pagans? Who are they? How do you identify them? Jesus used the contrast between the lifestyle of the pagans and the lifestyle of those who belong to His kingdom to make clear his instruction on how kingdom people should live. In giving instruction to his disciples regarding the issue of worry, he sharply exposed the different lifestyles.

How do you then distinguish the two lifestyles? We may have been exposed to the same harsh and hard realities of life; we may even have the same education, the same exposure to technology, and many other similarities. Yet there is an obvious distinction between the two. It’s in the area of our response to the pressures of life. Pagans helplessly respond in worry while the children of God, though they struggle over worry, they have the distinct strength in being peaceful in this high pressure life. The difference is not their positive thinking or outlook in life, it is the Master they know and they trust.

The Pagan’s life is deeply concerned with having everything in order to be happy. They exert all possible efforts to maintain a sense of security, and hopefully, peace of mind, while the child of God is equipped by a supernatural grace to not be overwhelmed by worry. It is not saying that we are numb or indifferent to pain and frustration. Like any other, we are all affected by it yet not controlled by it. Worry, hurry and bury: these are the words that describe a pagan’s life. Not that they lack understanding or the opportunity to change: rather, such worried and hurried lifestyle emanates from a relationship and existence that excludes the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Self reigns and self rules!

The sovereignty of self is the life style of today. Therefore it goes deeply entangled with a life of meaninglessness and worry. Both pagans and followers of Christ have troubles, no one is exempted. It is how they respond to the pressures of life that marks the difference. One is in panic while the other is mysteriously calm. Pagan’s life finds its nourishment from having things and collecting more. Jesus warns us not to fall into such trap, for once we were. Don’t underestimate the convincing lifestyle of the lost, for in many ways they get more converts from those who say they have trusted Christ. Simply put, pagans are quick to worry and are consumed by it. Jesus says don’t be like them for you have a Father who knows all your need.

Spa Relaxation

I was so busy the last two weeks that I did not find time to update this blog. My mother-in-law's 80th birthday bash took a lot of my time. There were rehearsals for the dance and song numbers, finalization with the caterers and venue, costumes, props, guests' RSVPs and what-have-you. The affair was at 7:00 P.M. but I waw up until 2:00 A.M. eve of the occasion, up by 6:30 A.M. and was at the venue by 11:00 A.M. The affair was a complete success! However, I am bone-tired up to now. The stress and hassle of preparation left with aches and knots all over. I need a day of relaxation and pampering.

One good way to relax and unwind is to go to a spa and have a complete workout done. I can just imagine the wonderful massage and aromatherapy spas offer. I can't wait to de-stress in a sauna and maybe soak myself silly in a hot tub. I guess there's no worry about spa hot tub filters conking out at the last minute for the tubs, I heard, are well-maintained. Okay! Now I can't wait to go to a spa!

Satellite TV for Hotels

Ethan and I went on a short trip overseas. My brother and mother decided to give me a short all-expense trip to Hong Kong. It was quite a tiring and hectic trip for there was such a short time to see all there is to see. Ethan did not even to get to go to Ocean park but he enjoyed Disneyland HK. We were booked in a real fancy five-star hotel. Our room was wi-fi ready but since I did not bring a laptop, the wi-fi was pretty much useless to me. I watched television instead during evenings and that did not satisfy me either. The hotel's cable TV provider was no good. There were only about 30 channels to choose from - and that is far too few for me. The hotel should have gotten a Satellite TV instead of cable! Why? For one, satellite tv has more channels and better quality pictures, and a high definition programming. Believe it or not, satellite tv is cheaper than cable tv. I should have suggested to the management for them to get Direct TV. The company has special offers for five-star hotels. The company offers free equipment and free installation to New Satellite TV Subscribers. Tired of the limitations of cable TV? Check out Direct TV.

If you have not submitted your blog(s) to any website directory, where have you been all this time? For your blog or website to get noticed and listed, you have to submit your site to different directories. Now, if you are in business and your blog or site is the forefront of your business, submitting to a business web directory is important. Submitting your site for listing will make it easier for browsers (potential clients) to find your site. A good web directory would have categories and sub-categories for you to have your site listed. Sample categories are: Arts and Humanities with sub-categories in Architecture, Galleries, Visual Arts and more. Most of these directories are free and require link backs. As directories really scrutinize each submitted URL, it is best to submit to as many free website directories are possible. Example of free web directories are DMOZ and Yahoo Directories. If you are a mom blogger like me, there are numerous mom blogs directories online too.

I have submitted both my blogs to a number of SEO friendly web directory. All I had to do was submit my blog's URL, description tag, meta-tag (if you have)to a category and sub-category that best suit my blogs. Some directories' approve at once. Some, like DMOZ, takes forever to approve. There are two simple ways to generate hits and attract visitors to a site. First, you can set up your own directory and have thousands on backlinks. Second, you can submit your site to directories to increase web traffic to your site thus giving your site a higher ranking on search engines. There are two ways to submit to website directories too. You can submit your blog to hundreds of directories yourself or you can pay someone ( website directory submitters). Either way, your site's URL will be in hundreds of website directories.

Clutter Fix

Having five kids sure made me accumulate so much stuff -junk and non-junk- over the years. Every so often, I try to de-clutter my house but it's just not enough. My family buy things like clothes, shoes, and other personal belongings on a regular basis. Somehow, giving away old clothes, shoes and toys to charity is easier that throwing away old scraps and crafts done by my kids. My kids were actually surprised to find my old grade school and their old grade school report cards safely tucked in one of my drawers.

One of my close friends has lived for a number of years abroad. She and her family have accumulated so much things like furniture, paintings and other art works. Since her family is constantly on the move she got a Self Storage unit for the things that "need" to be stored. Such facilities like the Self Storage Facilities Phoenix AZ offer a great value for your money. The units are fenced-in with your own access code and lighted easy access driveways. Extra high lights are climate-controlled units and drive-up accessible units. These and more are offered atStorage Rentals Phoenix AZ. Do you want to clean-up your house without really throwing anything away? Check out the link.

Hot Summer Solution

It is summer in the Northern Hemisphere. School is out and most moms, dads and kids are now thinking of making their summer fun and memorable and cool. "Cool" in the sense of refreshing. My brother-in-law who lives with his family in Houston is complaining of the hot-humid weather they are now experiencing. He said his HVAC had a slight problem and at the moment not at its full capacity. HVAC is an acronym for heating, ventilating, and air conditioning. It is a system that controls the "climate" within residential, commercial and industrial buildings. The primary use of HVAC is to regulate room temperature, humidity, and air flow, ensuring that such elements remain within ideal ranges.

I told my brother-in-law to call the services of a Houston HVAC company known by its catchy name of Air-Mergency. The company is owned and managed by Fred Pettengill who has been in the HVAC business for the last 33 years. The company has a string of highly-satisfied customer under its belt for it has continuously showed professionalism and quality work in jobs done. One of Air-Mergency's trade mark is its efficiency in giving its customer an exact quote in terms of pricing and number of hours of the work to be done. The company also deals with HVAC Repairs, preventive maintenance, system installatiions and indoor air quality. If you're within the general area of Houston, better check the site out just like what bro-in-law did.

He Anoints Your Head with Oil

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

“…You anoint my head with oil"
(Psalm 23:5, NKJ)

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria

In the Bible, oil is symbolic of the anointing of God. Do you know what oil does? It makes things flow. Whenever there is friction or something gets stuck, putting oil on it makes it become more fluid. That’s what God wants to do for you. He wants to anoint your head with oil. When he does that, notice what David says in Psalm 23, “Because God anoints me, because I walk in His favor; surely, goodness and mercy will follow me everywhere I go."

His anointing makes things easier. People will go out of their way to be good to you for no reason. You’re going to have creativity, wisdom, and good ideas. God’s anointing on your life will cause the right doors to open. It will bring the right people across your path. It will make things go smoother. And the good news is, all you have to do is ask Him for it. Remember, He longs to be good to you. You can trust that His anointing will make things easier, and He will lead you into the abundant life He has in store for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your favor in my life today. Thank you for causing me to be at the right place at the right time. Anoint my head with Your oil so that I move forward in the path You have for me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Right Price at Every Price

When you become a mom, you become a hunter... that is, a bargain hunter. Mommies are always on the look out for the best buys, lowest priced, whale-of-a-sale, and what-have-you. I bet it's every mom's wish that everyday is a Black Friday! Bargain hunting has become easier over the years, thanks to internet technology. A bargain conscious mom could very well just type any commodity or item she wants and presto! - a string of all sites carrying the item comes out. However, there is a new site I found that is incredibly helpful in finding the lowest priced item even on a "non-sale" day. Every Price is a price comparison network. Search for an item and out comes the pricing of the item on three sites with a recommendation on site that sells if for less. One could actually purchase the said item without leaving Every Price.

The site is easy to navigate. There are items under Photo, Jewelry, Electronics, Computers, Home and Garden, Travel, Musical Instruments and more. I have always wanted a Wii Console. I searched for the item and out came three comparative prices with a recommendation on the site that sells if for less. Great huh?!I suggest you check out the site.

The Joys and Woes of Parenting

Parenting is not a breeze. A lot of new parents find it hard to cope up with the thousand and one things parenting entails. How many times have I heard fellow mommies lament on the woes and travails of parenting? A number of times. On the other hand, how many times have I heard of the joys and sheer feeling of fulfillment regarding that payless job called parenting? Countless.

There are books, articles, manuals and even brochure on the subject of Family and Parenting .I have numerous series of books that discuss the different stages of childhood from day one up to secondary school. I have books relating to from conception to actual day of delivery. I have sources on the various diseases and immunizations of children. Name the topic and I probably have the book. Yet, there is no sure formula on how to bring up a child. I adhere to the Biblical verse that says "spare the rod and spoil the child". No, I do not inflict the black and blue thing kind of punishment but I did some kind of spanking when my kids were from ages 7-11 and somehow they all turned out okay.

There are numerous sites that deals in giving out tips and tidbits about parenting to all the wonderful internet savvy moms and dads these days. One such site is www. family-and-parenting .com. Articles are varied as some titles are a series of Tips for Raising kids - from infancy to 17 years old. There is an article for Dad's to be and even tips to help your overweight child lose weight. Check the site out.

Unemployment Rate Continues to Rise

The state of California's unemployment rate is at an all time high. It was reported that it rose to 11.5% in May, a higher rate than the 9.4% national unemployment rate. A cousin who lives in Fresno said she has two friends who actually lost their homes for not being able to pay the mortgage. The California Employment Development Department revealed a 14,200 job-decline. The economy crush is forcing out of job persons to make loans or credits.

A bad credit history, a tax liens, denied credit elsewhere or have even declared bankruptcy, there is still a way for you to make a loan through Auto Title Loans. You don't need to have an impeccable credit standing to get a loan. All you need is a clean title to a car, or van or mini-van or truck valued at least $5,000. The vehicle serves as the collateral without the owner leaving the car as insurance. Auto Title Loans Hayward and Auto Title Loans Fresno offer such services. If you are in need of that much needed loan, go to the website and have your car assessed. If all requirements are in order, then your loan will be out in not time at all.

Best Marketing Idea

My girls and I have been toying with the idea of putting up an Events Coordinator business. We have been coordinating events like weddings, birthdays, showers and what-have-you for sometime now all for free. Over the years, I have collected names and brands of caterers, photographers, cake designers, dressmakers, make-up artists and more. If we out our minds into it, my girls and I could actually make a success of this business. There's one thing to consider though. In order for a business to succeed, a marketing strategy is needed. I could go viral but that would take time.

What every business needs is a targeted consumer or client data base. Where do you get one? There are online resources for this and one such company is B2b Marketing. The company could give your business an updated direct leads to your targeted consumer. The company can give its clients a direct access to marketing leads that best suit their companies be it in the field of: arms adjusting, credit and other banking related matters such as bankruptcy and loan modifications, reverse mortgage and more. Since I am more interested in putting up a business, B2b Marketing could actually give me leads dependent on the core group or ethnicity,or income bracket, religion and many more. Unbelievable! Check it out.

Hong Kong It Is!

Hooray! My brother just called and he said he would pay for my airfare and hotel accommodations in Hong Kong.A niece of mine will be arriving from LA to Manila on July 4. She and a cousin of mine have planned a trip to Manila to Hong Kong and back from July 13 to 16. The two have decided to avail of the super low air fare rates offered by a leading airline company. In line with this, they have asked me to join their trip. The thing is I have just paid for my son's tuition fees and other pertinent items. Even if I have the extra money, I don't think it's wise to spend it all. My brother heard about my predicament and he graciously offered to pay for my trip.

I've checked out some hotel online and I landed on Accor Hotels City Super Sale website. The chain of hotels is offering up to 60% discount off their regular prices. The hotel has chain and affiliate hotels like Novotel, Four Seasons, Sofitel, and more scattered all over 27 countries in 10 cities in Asia and Australia. I think I will book at Hotel Ibis North Point in Hong Kong. At a rate of $45.oo per day, the offer is great. You might want to check out the site soon as the offer is for online bookings from June 23-29 bookings for reservations good for July 10 to September 30, 2009.

Sydney Itinerary

There has been an ongoing worldwide sale of airline tickets. I have a friend who has able to reserve and buy a $500 worth airline ticket from Manila to LA and back a December flight. That led me to renew my passport for how could I enjoy the low air fares if I don't have a passport? I was able to get my new passport a week ago and now, of course, I am on the lookout for hotel and air fare sales.

I saw a site that is offering for as much as a 60% discount off their regular price. Accor Hotels City Super Sale is currently ongoing and the cut in rates is unbelievable. If I were to book a hotel I would choose the Hotel Sofitel in Sydney. It has always been my wish to see the Opera House and maybe watch a performance one night. I would like to see the The Rocks, Museum of Sydney, the Royal Botanical Gardens and of course the Sydney Aquarium. It would be nice to just take it easy and not have a schedule to adhere to so I could choose to stay a little longer if I find a spot quite nice. Of course my visit would not be complete without seeing the Olympic Park.I would like to find time to just sit by the beach and stare at the coming and receding waves. Who knows? I might even walk by the seashore to get my feet wet. It might too cold to swim though.

I guess you better visit the site to avail of the 60% off in by booking online from June 23-29, 2009 for reservations and hotel accommodations from July 10 to September 30, 2009.

When You Feel Vengeful

I am so mad my neck and shoulders are all stiff! I could even feel and hear my right jaw lock and click due to too much clenching. I would normally have faced and confronted the offending person but past encounters have thought me that that would prove useless. This person just don't know the meaning of "talking things" out. What do to do? I feel like bursting and satisfying my revenge mood. But what good would that do? Nothing. It would just make matters worst with no window for a solution of forgiveness. So I read up on Romans 12:19-21

Do not take revenge, my friends
but leave room for God's wrath,
for it is written:
"It is mine to revenge; I will repay," says the Lord. On the
contrary: "If your enemy is hungry,
feed him; if he is thirsty, give him
something to drink. In doing this,
you will heap burning coals on
his head.

I rather think these Bible passages are one heck of psychological move favoring the offended party.

About Real Property Management

My mother-in-law has several real properties for rent. Most are commercial buildings ideal for commercial establishments such as banks and offices. The properties bring in a very profitable income for my mother-in-law but of late some tenants have not been paying their rents. Eviction for most is in the offing but since no one really manages the properties, my in-laws have no inkling on what to do next. If only they have thought of hiring the services of a professional Real Property Management team then services such as:tenant placement, credit and Multi-State Criminal Backround Screening, monthly financial reporting to Owners available online 24/7, Regular Property Inspections and Evictions and more, would have been taken care of at a very reasonable fees.

Billiards Anyone?

My first encounter with playing billiards was way back when The Exorcist was the scariest movie ever! My college friends taught me the rudiments of the game and from then on I play the occasional game when the opportunity presents itself. When my kids were a bit grown up, they challenged me to play billiards and they got a big surprise when they learned that I did know how to. Anyway, the other day, my son challenged me to a game of billiards... online! He found multiplayer games,8c1.net.http://www.8c1.net a free online billiards site. Anyone can join and at once start to play upon registration. You can invite friends to join and then form your own room where you can chat and play at the same time. I must admit I lost to my son. I am no savvy when it comes to online games.

Single Mom

To cut a very long story short, my eldest daughter is a single parent. Not that it bothers her or me or us, for that matter. But sometimes, her 6-year old son asks questions and at times she is stymied for answers. There are just not enough single parents she hangs out with to get compare notes. Each single parent has a different story to tell and if you don't know one, then there's no way for you to broaden your resources.

I told my daughter that it would do her good to join a single parent chat room. Members of the chat room are international and therefore more she would have a greater range of insight coming from single parents from different countries. I have a blogger friend who is also a single mom, who joined one such chat room. She told me that she has a network of single and non-single moms and dads that chats with on a regular basis. Why don't you hop over to the site and check it out. Membership is free and registration is easy as 1-2-3. Once registered, take your pick as you can immediately have access to all the different chat rooms.

A New School Prayer?

In the United States of America, most public schools Since are not allowed to recite the Pledge of Allegiance and The Lord's Prayer because the word 'God' is mentioned...

So s 15 yr. Old SCHOOL KID IN ARIZONA wrote the

NEW School prayer :

Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule.
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.

If Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights..
And anytime my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter now.

Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That's no offense; it's a freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.

For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all.
In silence alone we must meditate,
God's name is prohibited by the state.

We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks..
They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.
We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King.
It's 'inappropriate' to teach right from wrong,
We're taught that such 'judgments' do not belong.

We can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.

It's scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school's a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take!
Amen.

Scrub Mags Summer

It is summer in the northern hemisphere and what better way to greet it by dressing and grooming appropriately for the season. If you want healthy tips to good "summer" living and more then hop over to Scrubs. The online magazine Scrub Mags discusses various tips and guides to health, mind, beauty, style, work, love and more as written by professional nurses or student nurses. The site also includes stories, insights, reviews and current news about a wide range of subjects and topics that could help its readers lead clean and healthy and beautiful lives especially this summer.

There's an article about waking up looking younger. Now, who would not want that?! The article gave a five-point guideline about the topic. Foremost is you must never-ever go to sleep without washing your face as make-up clogs the pores. It is also essential to use moisturizer to lessen the fine wrinkles on the face. Are you one of those sleep on their tummies? Well, better change that habit as sleeping on your face will cause you more wrinkles.

I also read the story about a nurse's about the importance of grooming oneself before going to work. She shares that putting on lipstick and mascara could make the difference between looking well-groomed and sloppy. Check out the sight for more tips and real entertaining nurses' tales.

When the Bathroom Floor Falls...

My brother called me up all excited and hysterical. Part of his house's second floor bathroom fell through the ceiling while his son, my nephew, was taking a shower. Okay. I laughed. I can't help it. I could just imagine my 17 year old nephew hanging on for dear life while in the shower. Nothing grave actually happened. My brother exaggerated when he said the bathroom floor fell. It only shifted, err, down. The drain pipes are all rusty and have leaks that soaked the floor boards. His house is 35 years old and the plumbing installation needs a serious upgrade.

My brother has been fixing the "house problems" by himself to save up on money. I guess it's high time to call in professional help for his plumbing dilemma as the medium-sized problem might turn into a big disaster. If he only lives in Denton, then he could avail the services of a Denton Plumbing company. Brown and Sons Plumbing has been in the business for quite a while now as attested by the more than 60,000 completed jobs done by the company. The company specializes in slab leak repairs - perfect for my brother's need - , toilet repairs and other plumbing problems. I guess he just have to shop around or ask friends for a reliable plumber.

Thankful

Yesterday was my monthly doctor's appointment. I came forty minutes early for my appointment and fell asleep while waiting for my turn. I gave a loud start when my name was called. The doctor said all is well though he is a bit worried why the stiffness in my shoulders and neck has not left. He asked me if I'm stressed and I said "all the time". There's just too much to think and do, do and think! My doctor increased the dosage for one medication and hopefully that would lessen the stiffness in my shoulders and neck. Stiffness or none, I am thankful that God has been taking care of me.

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
his love endures forever.

Home Theater

Each bedroom in my house has its own television set. We watch television in the confines of our own bedrooms. One thing great about this is we can watch any show that we want without interruption. What is not so good about this arrangement is my kids and I don't have the opportunity to watch television or DVD together. Sometimes, they all camp in my bedroom if we all want to watch a particular TV show or DVD movie together. What we need is to upgrade our television-watching and have an entertainment system installed in the family room.

Wouldn't it be just grand to have a home theater much like the one I saw online? Finding a company to do the work and installation would not be much of a problem if you live somewhere in Idaho. A Boise Home Theater contractor, Advan Tech Custom Wiring, will do the job for you. The company offers: Custom Home Theater Packages, Flat Panel TV Mounting, Whole House Audio Systems, Intercoms and other systems. Remodeling the Staircase

My cousin is at it again... remodeling her house. Every two to three years she gets the itch to do something new for her house. A couple of years ago, she had the master suite done. Big bay windows were installed and a the toilet and bath enlarged. Four or five years ago, she had a trellis put up in her garden and a rooftop added to the utility area. This year, this month to be precise, she wants her old dark staircase changed. She wants to tear down the retaining wall of the staircase to open up the view from the second floor to the ground floor and vice versa. Finding the right contractor is a problem as of now.

If only she lives in greater Chicago then finding the right contractor for the project would be a breeze. Budget Pros is a Chicago Remodeling company that specializes in outdoor and indoor home remodeling, kitchen and bath Remodeling and even garage remodeling. It is best to be specific as to the type and scope of job that you want for the contractor's right quotation. Make sure that the remodeling contractor has the necessary updated permits and licenses for the job. Draw a contract as this would be to both you and contractor's benefit. Is it time to remodel your home?

He Makes All things New

Today's Scripture

"…and He who is seated on the throne said, See! I make all things new…" (Revelation 21:5, AMP).

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

When God puts a dream in your heart, when He puts a promise on the inside, He deposits within you everything you need to accomplish that dream. He wouldn't give you the desire to do something without giving you the ability to fulfill it. In fact, the scripture tells us that God gives us the desires of our heart. In other words, He puts the desire inside of us and then works with us to bring it to pass.

Oftentimes, people set out to accomplish their dreams, but they face a setback or disappointment, and then they feel like their time has passed. But let me tell you today, no matter where you've come from, no matter what's happened in your past, God wants to make you new. He wants to give you a "do over," a fresh start. If you feel like you've missed opportunities in your life, if you feel like your time has passed, remember, today is a new day. You are a new person, and God has new opportunities in store for you. If one dream has died, it's time to dream a new dream.

A Prayer for Today

Father in heaven, thank You for making all things new. I give You this day and invite You to have Your way in every area of my life. I choose to receive all the promises You have in store for me. In Jesus' Name. Amen

Asbestos Poisoning

Asbestos was the number one product used for both residential and commercial spaces from the 1930'2 to late 1970's. However, in the 1980's asbestos was banned from production and use. It was found that the material causes asbestosis and mesothelioma, a type of asbestos-caused cancer. The effect of constant asbestos exposure is only evident after 10 to 50 years after rampant exposure. So those exposed decades ago are just only diagnosed. If you still don't know here is a short list of materials that could have asbestos: Cement Pipes,Cement Wallboard,Cement Siding,Asphalt Floor Tile,Vinyl Floor Tile,Vinyl Sheet Flooring, Flooring Backing, Construction Mastics (floor, tile, carpet, ceiling tile, etc.), Acoustical Plaster, Decorative Plaster,Textured Paints and Coatings and many more. Always look at the component of a material you wish to install in your house. Although banned, asbestos in houses and other old constructions are still evident.

The worst effect of asbestos is mesothelioma. It is a type of cancer from asbestos exposure. It's one type of cancer that is quite hard to treat for early symptoms are hard to detect. Once diagnosed, treatment is fairly hard to come by and the patient more often that not, dies in a year. When You Need Patience

When I was a lot younger I tended to lose my temper more readily. As I grew older I have become more patient and therefore less stressed out when things don't happen my way.I question God what's taking Him so long to hear my prayers! When you need patience remember these two apt verses.

You need to keep on
patiently doing God's will
if you want Him to do for
you all that He has promised

Hebrews 10:36

...When your patience is
finally in full bloom, then
you will be ready for
anything, strong in character,
full and complete.

James 1:4

Car Title Loans

The unemployment rate still keeps going up. The U.S. Bureau of Labor releases that unemployment rate went up from 8.5% to 8.9% in April. Since recession began sometime in December 2007, U.S statistics show that there were approximately 5.7 million jobs that were lost. That's 5.7 million people out of job in the U.S. In April alone a mass layoff of 2,712 involved about 271,226 individuals. So many people are out of jobs and the crush in economy are forcing them to make loans left and right to make ends meet.

If you have a bad credit history or tax liens, repossessions or have been denied credit elsewhere or even declared bankruptcy, there is still a way for you to make a loan. Car Title Loans basically lets you make a loan with your car as collateral. If your car, minivan, van or truck is valued at $5,000 or more then you can get a cash loan for your car title in an hour. Car Title Loans Hayward and Car Title Loans Sacramento offer the same services too. You can visit the website and have your car assessed online. If your vehicle meets the minimum wholesale value, then apply online, get approved instantly and get your money within the hour.

My Dream Cars

My son's former high school classmates dropped by out house one late night. One of them just had a new car and he picked up his high school buddies for a spin. The car, a BMW, was an 18th birthday gift from his dad. My son said the Beemer was all high-tech and push button which led me to search on BMW videos to know more about such cars. I happened on a site that "tells it all". Pick a BMW model and a video clip of the said card model would pop up completer with detailed specifications. Click on a link and stories about the cars or news relating to the same make are available for interested parties to read. You can read about a particular model's performance, design, utility, safety and value. There's even a feedback on the possible emotional appeal that one can experience with a specific model. I took a particular liking to a 2009 BMW 335i Sedan. It is currently the best seller of the BMW 3-series. With a front engine and rear while drive,3 liter, twin-turbocharged Inline-6 engine, and a power of 300 hp @ 5800 rpm with a 6-speed automatic gear, this "baby" would certainly light up my life!

For more practical but awesome cars too, a link to Honda videos are also available. Now, if you want to throw all caution to the wind and get your dream car, check out the Jaguar videos. I just did and now I want a 2009 Jaguar XF on top of my BMW 355i.

Don't Give Away Your Power

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

“And don’t sin by letting anger control you. Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry”
(Ephesians 4:26, NLT).
TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria

Do you realize how much energy it takes to be bitter or hold a grudge? We only have a certain amount of energy for each day. If we use it for the wrong purposes, focused on the negative, dwelling on who hurt us, we’re not going to have the energy we need for the right purposes. We’re not going to make the best decisions. We’re not going to be as creative. We’re not only doing ourselves a disservice, but we’re doing our family and our friends a disservice.

Remember, you can’t control what people do or say. You can only control yourself. If you’re allowing others to upset you, then you are giving away your power. The Scripture says, “Don’t let the sun go down on your anger.” The reason many people have no joy or enthusiasm is because they go to bed every night with anger and unforgiveness. When you go to bed like that, with a cluttered mind, focused on the negative, you wake up with the same negative emotions. Don’t let anger and unforgiveness block God’s blessing in your life. Choose to let those things go so you can live in the peace, joy, and power the Lord has for you.
A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, today I am releasing every negative thing that has happened to me. I’m forgiving every person who has hurt me. I’m forgiving myself for mistakes I’ve made and releasing every disappointment so that I can live in Your peace and victory. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Carpet Cleaning

The four main bedrooms in my house used to be fully carpeted. I employed the services of a reputable carpeting company to install the wall to wall carpet in the bedrooms. I had a fun time choosing the colors and thickness and type of carpeting to be installed. When the job was done I was so happy an pleased with the result until it was time for carpet cleaning. Cleaning the carpet does not entails vacuuming the carpet. Shampooing and drying the carpet was a must and I was just not cut out for the tedious job.

If only Austin Carpet Cleaning company had a branch in my town, then I would not have resorted to pulling out all my carpeting. The All Pure Cleaning System has been in business for the last 15 years. It has consistently provided its clients quality service at the lowest possible price. The company not only cleans any type and size of carpets but it also specializes in: Window Cleaning, Fire and Water Emergency Restoration, Commercial and Event Cleaning, Strip and Wax Commercial Floors, Tile and Marble Cleaning and Sealant, Hardwood Floor Cleaning, Concrete Sealer and Cleaning. If you are in the greater vicinity of Austin and are in need of any of these services, check the site out.

New Furniture and Fixtures

My bathroom needs remodeling. The tiles are old and chipped. The water closet vintage and the bathroom vanities needs a total "facelift". There are a lot of new bathroom fixtures and amenities that are available today. My head just spins every time I window shop or browse online for new things and gadgets for the house. While I am at it, I also need new bedroom furniture or more specifically a new bed. My bed is of metal and I feel like I want to exchange it a modern bed - sleek and zen-like. I like the clean lines of the bed and its matching night tables and dresser. Beautiful! I wish I could avail of the ongoing slash/clearance sale ongoing in this furniture shop online. Interested? Click on the link for more information on the current clearance sale. You might want to look at more items on sale. I myself am interested in the outdoor couches on sale. Go to the site and look for the yellow-green outdoor couch. I just love it! The couch would be perfect for my trellised terrace. I could put in some blue and orange throw pillows and whalla! I would have one heck of an inviting and tranquil outdoor space. Check out the site. You won't regret it.

Jewish Chat

I have just finished reading The Diary of Anne Frank for the nth time. I love the book so much as it dwells on something positive in a time where it is highly excusable to feel negative. I am moved over and over again by the strong Faith and undeniable hope that the Jewish family has shown. As a matter of fact, I am in awe of the whole Jewish nation. The nation has gone through a lot of unbelievably horrifying ordeal that it's a miracle the race persist. Well, I would not really ponder on that for long as all Bible readers know that the Jews are God's chosen people.

I would really like to meet Jews online. It is well and good that there are jewish chatrooms that one can join to meet and interact with Jews online. The membership fee is totally free. Registration is as easy as 1-2-3. Just hop over to the site and chose a username, put in your password and email address and you are done. This is one recommended place for Jews to talk and interact with fellow Jews. I think it would be interesting to ask Jews about Judaism and other related topics.

Thanks Kimberky for this award. You're one of those who really know the meaning of gratitude. I know that life is sometimes harsh but if we look closely, we have a lot to be thankful for on a daily basis. Right?!

I pass this award to all of those who find something to be thankful for everyday.

Wheelchair Chats

One of my daughters, the dentist, together with a handful of pediatric dentists, held a one-day free clinic at an Orthopedic Hospital. There were a lot of kids and teens confined at the hospital that needed free dental assessment and tooth extraction. I was surprised to find out that there are actually about 200 kids of varying ages that are living in the hospital compound. These kids are not actually patients but are handicapped kids taken in by the hospital and placed in the housing facilities. The kids come from all over the Philippines and they are there for the duration of their lower and upper school education. There are a handful of adults too who chose to stay after their high school education. Computer education is part of the high school curriculum and the upper school kids and the adult supervisors are allowed to go online for a few hours a week. I guess joining a handicapped chat room would be beneficial to these kids for they could all share their "wheelchair" experiences. The site is 100% free to join and registration is easy. There are different chat rooms available. I think it would be nice for these handicapped persons to meet other handicaps of different nationalities and ages.

When You Feel Weak

There are times that no matter how strong your faith is, weakness still is possible. When you feel weak, remember that there is a God who can be your refuge and strength.

He gives strength to the
weary and increase the power
of the weak. Even youths grow
tired and weary, and young men
stumble and fall; but those who
hope in the Lord will renew their
strength. They will soar on wings
like eagles; they will run and
not grow weary, they will
walk and not be faint.

Isaiah 40:29-31

Nurse's Tips to Good Living

Scrubs can pertain to the scrub suits that doctors or nurses wear. It could pertain to a defunct TV series that showcased the lives of wacky interns and residents. However, the Scrubs that I mean hear is Scrubs Mag, a one of a kind online magazine that details a nurse's guide to clean living. Various tips and guides about health, mind, beauty, style, work, love and even money are given by professional nurses. The site is truly one of a kind for the site is not limited to clinical tips alone but includes stories, insights, reviews and current news about a variety of subjects and topics that could help its readers lead clean and healthy lives.

I read the weight loss articles and picked up a few simple tips. I need to lose a few pounds too for health reasons. What really intrigued me was an article titled The Beauty Stimulus Package. In a nutshell the article is all about looking great without the costly cosmetics and even costlier procedures. One tip I would surely do is to mix baking soda, or sugar, with olive oil or a product like Cetaphil for a great exfoliator without over drying the skin. Check out the sight. You'll learn a lot from their pool of nurse article writers.

When You Need Comfort

I would like to thank all those who expressed their care and concern for me. God Bless you all. Everyone needs a shoulder to lean or cry on at times. However, people are not perfect and sometimes they fail us too. What better time to remember that when you need comfort as 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 says...

What a wonderful God we have
He is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the source of every mercy, and the one
who so wonderfully comforts and
strengthens us in our hardships and
trials. And why does He do this?
So that when others are troubled, needing
our sympathy and encouragement,
we can pass on to them this same help
and comfort God has given us.

Of House Tips and Clogged Pipes

I am an architect by profession and for the longest time I have been toying with the idea of putting up a home and gadgets blog. The site would be more like a how to's and tips about anything related to housing and gadgetry. A lot of do-it-yourself-ers would definitely find it useful to get the right tips on, for example, the right type of paint for a certain material, what light wattage to use for a particular area or what type of pipe to used for a specific plumbing fixture.

Speaking of plumbing, I once had a client whose hot water line to the master bedroom was not working. The rest of the house was getting its hot water except for the master bedroom. My theory was that some debris accumulated in the half-inch diameter pipe but there was no way to for me to see the insides of the pipe for it was embeded in the floor. That was 5 years ago. Today it's possible to look into the insides of a pipe as offered by a Salt Lake City Plumbing company called Drain Tech. In-line camera inspection and pipe location is one awesome service. Old houses with plumbing problems will now be easier to diagnose. The company also specializes aside from Plumbing, Drain Cleaning, High Pressure Hydro Jetting, In Line Color Camera Pipe Inspections DVD and Pipe Locating.

Legal Matter Dilemma

My in-law's family owned corporations need a good lawyer. The string of lawyers that have handled their legal matters were all inept in a sense. They billed the corporations left and right and my in-laws had no way of telling if they were billed correctly and honestly. It was frustrating as there was no way of checking for the billed hours.

High technology is the answer for this dilemma as E-billing is now available all for the benefit of both clients and law firms. In a nutshell E-billing is all about outsource law firms submitting their invoices to their clients. The system is also integrated with the accounting department and Matter Management that would ensure a methodical flow of invoice and budget. The system allows for a complete record of billings, commentaries, answers to inquiries, and more. The system is easy to learn and adapt too. No need for uber-tech know-how here. The system, developed by TeamConnect Collaborati Spend Management, also simplifies invoice review and imposes billing guidelines in your legal operations. Some of the most notable features of the system are:

* Ensure compliance with established billing guidelines and automatically reject non-compliant invoices.
* Automatically mark non-compliant invoices with warnings at both the invoice level and line item level.
* Auto-adjust non-compliant items such as charge rates and unauthorized expenses.
*Automatically route invoices to the appropriate approvers and configure allocated approval times at the process and individual stop levels.

TeamConnect could also organize and streamline your Litigation Hold
agenda so that all communications are placed in a single-trackable location. Check out the site for more information.
