The Reason for the Season is the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It pains me to see that the true meaning of Christmas is set aside to make way for the commercialism of the occasion. True, the birth of Christ did not happen on December 25 but the essence and significance of His glorious birth is celebrated on the said day.
