Go Viral

I have seen the phenomenal growth of some blogs that I visit. I refer to the number of visitors that a blog has. There are numerous social networking sites and other blog groups that bloggers, like you and me, can join for us to get exposure and eventually get a wide readership. For online and offline businesses, exposure in terms of advertisement is necessary for a its products or services to be known. There is a new kind of marketing that uses social networking. It is called viral marketing.

Viral marketing is a marketing phenomenon that facilitates and encourages people to pass along a marketing message voluntarily. Viral promotions may take the form of video clips, interactive Flash games, advergames, ebooks, brandable software, images, or even text messages. It creates the potential for exponential growth in the message's exposure and influence. In can be called "word-of-mouth" marketing, "network" marketing or even a "buzz".

There's a site called that offers a free online conference called How to Viral Market. The conference would basically guide you through a step by step information on the how to's and what to's of viral marketing. Check out the site to learn more about viral marketing.

You know...your blog is lovely. You sound lovely. However, I noticed you just posted a snarky comment over at Blanca's blog, re: prop 8. I live in Canada...where gay people CAN legally marry. It doesnt hurt me one bit...nor should it hurt you. I take care of my take care of yours.

I often wonder how a "Christan" can speak one way out of one side of their mouth, and another out of the other side. You cant profess the love of GOD and then spew hatred at a group of people who believe differently than you.

By the way...some mormons still practice polygamy. You also need to educate yourself if you believe that incest and being gay are the same thing my friend. One is a perversion...a sickness...the other is not. How can you say that 2 consenting adults are practising the same thing that some scumbag father is with his 4 year old daughter. Please...learn something or be quiet.

laurie: you totally missed the point. incest and being gay are not the same. however, in my belief, both are perversions.

Leviticus 20:13 - "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads." (NIV)

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 - "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." (NIV).

1 Corinthians 6:11 - "And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." (NIV)

what made you think i "hate" gays? i am not homophobic as i have gay friends too. i have nothing against them but i am against same sex marriage.

You cant profess the love of GOD and then spew hatred at a group of people who believe differently than you.

did i "spew" hatred? what did i say? what did i do?

if same sex marriage is allowed, what's to stop 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree relatives (18 and above) from seeking the same privilege? - this is what i meant by "incestuous" relationships and not the perverted example you gave - a relationship between a father and his 4 year old daughter. if we were to dissect and expound on this example, first, a 4 yr old cannot have a consenting relationship because of her age. she's 4, what does she know?

i know that polygamy is still being practiced by some Mormons. but the practice is illegal in the US and in the rest of the world, (except maybe for Muslims). if same sex marriage is allowed, what's to stop these polygamists from demanding the same rights?-

same sex marriage proponents claim that the purpose of the marriage is to legalize the partnership and enjoy the rights and privileges of married couples. if i'm not mistaken (correct me if i'm wrong) same gender partners can have a contract to legalize their partnership. isn't that enough? this privilege, however do not extend to polygamous marriages. can that be called discrimination? don't get me wrong as i don't condone multiple marriages too.

you said that allowing same sex marriages will not hurt you and me. do you really think so?

now, what is it that you want me to learn?
